India has approved a revised alignment for the Pune-Nashik high-speed corridor after the earlier route was rejected for interfering with the GMRT observatory. The new route via Shirdi, Puntamba, Nimblak, and Ahilyanagar will enhance tourism, industrial connectivity, and educational mobility, especially by linking Pune with the Chakan industrial hub.
