Pune vehicles to get MH 61 registration as MH 12 is now exhausted

Pune is shifting to the MH-61 vehicle registration series after all available MH-12 combinations were exhausted. The new code is a temporary arrangement, with more than 44.88 lakh live vehicles currently registered under the Pune RTO. Authorities are working on a revised format that could preserve the iconic MH-12 identity.
