Vendors in Pune city have decided to hike the prices of their food items to accommodate the cost of using white paper for wrapping eatables, Hindustan Times reported. This comes after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Maharashtra banned the use of newspapers to wrap food items. The FDA warned of strict action if its order is violated.
