Pune's Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) has seized 42 boxes of mangoes being falsely sold as Alphonso mangoes from Ratnagiri by three wholesale dealers, an official said on Saturday. The seized mangoes had arrived from Karnataka, the official added. Alphonso mangoes from Karnataka are cheaper than the Ratnagiri Alphonso, a mango trader said.
