A Class 8 student died by suicide in Hyderabad's Hayathnagar on Thursday allegedly after being punished at school. The girl was reportedly reprimanded by her teacher and asked to stand outside the classroom for not doing her homework. Her family members alleged that she felt humiliated in front of her classmates. Police have registered a case of suspicious death.
