Punjab CM Mann's wife tried to hush rape case for ₹5 cr, alleges ex-HC judge; NHRC seeks report

Former Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Ranjit Singh has alleged that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann's wife, Gurpreet Kaur, tried to hush up a rape case in exchange for a bribe of ₹5 crore. NHRC member Priyank Kanoongo said they have directed the Punjab Chief Secretary and the DGP to investigate the matter and submit a report within 15 days.
