Punjab consumer court has held Domino's Pizza India accountable for serving "unhygienic food item" after a customer alleged that a dead bee was found in pizza. Setting aside an earlier order awarding the customer ₹1 lakh in compensation, the court directed Domino's to deposit ₹10,000 with PGI Poor Patient Welfare Fund. The complainants had initially sought ₹20 lakh in compensation.
