Punjab farmer turns turmeric cultivation into thriving business

Gurdial Singh has transformed turmeric cultivation on just four marlas of land into a business by growing, processing and packaging the product himself. His venture now employs seven to eight people. Recently honoured by Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) for his work in food processing, Singh believes farming can generate a substantial income.
