Punjab HC issues contempt notice to Chief Secretary over DA arrears

The Punjab and Haryana High Court issued a contempt notice to Punjab's Chief Secretary, present in court, over non-compliance with its August 3 order on DA arrears for state employees and pensioners. The Chief Secretary must file a compliance affidavit within 10 days. Next hearing is scheduled for November 17.
