Punjab has hiked the minimum wages for workers by 15% across both government and private sectors. Unskilled workers will now get ₹13,486 per month, semi-skilled workers will get ₹14,383/month, and skilled workers will get ₹15,414/month. The monthly wages of Staff Category-A have been increased to ₹19,431, Staff Category-B to ₹17,510, Staff Category-C to ₹15,786 and Staff Category-D to ₹14,406.
