Punjab officer, who was posted in unit tackling drug trafficking, arrested with 3 kg heroin

Inspector Baldev Singh, who was in charge of Counter-Intelligence unit in Ferozepur, has been arrested by Punjab Police with 3.35 kg of heroin, six pistols, and six mobile phones. His arrest has raised concerns as he was posted in a unit responsible for tackling drug trafficking. Singh was arrested after police stopped his vehicle at a checkpoint following a tip-off.
