Punjab Police resorted to a lathicharge against unemployed ITI-qualified candidates protesting outside Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) headquarters in Patiala. The protesters were demanding action on employment-related issues and apprenticeship concerns and had been blocking the main gate and nearby road for several days. The situation escalated after they blocked another entrance.
