Punjab's new international airport near Ludhiana is ready to begin operations. Built at a cost of ₹50 crore, it features a modern terminal and upgraded runway, aiming to enhance regional connectivity and economic growth. The Punjab Vidhan Sabha had adopted a resolution to request the Centre to name the airport after Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha.
