Punjab SIR schedule revised, draft rolls to be published on Aug 3
The Election Commission of India has revised the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of of Electoral Rolls in Punjab, with the draft publication of electoral rolls now taking place on August 3 instead of July 31. The period for filing claims and objections has been revised from August 3 to September 2.
