A PURE EV scooter caught fire while it was plugged in for charging in Gujarat's Patan. A video showing the e-scooter on fire outside a house also surfaced on social media. Last month, a PURE EV scooter caught fire in Hyderabad after stopping suddenly. The startup had recalled 2,000 e-scooters in April this year after incidents of fire were reported.
