Mumbai-based online beauty products retailer Purplle has raised $38 million in its extended Series D funding round, reported Business Insider citing regulatory filings. It was led by Sequoia Capital and saw participation from Blume Ventures and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail-owned Pantaloons' CEO Sangeeta Pendurkar, the report said. The 9-year-old startup is now reportedly valued at $728 million.
