A joint study by WaterAid India and DDU Gorakhpur University reveals that 93% of rural households in Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, and Maharajganj now have tap water under the Jal Jeevan Mission. This shift from traditional sources has significantly improved access to safe drinking water, enhancing health and daily living for residents.
