BJP leader Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday won the Champawat bypolls by over 55,000 votes and he will now continue to remain the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He defeated Congress' Nirmala Gahotri, SP candidate Manoj Kumar and independent candidate Himanshu Garkoti. PM Narendra Modi congratulated Dhami and said, "I'm confident he will work even harder for the progress of Uttarakhand."
