Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree allowing Russia to seize assets of US companies and individuals to compensate for any Russian assets confiscated in the US. The move came as G7 nations have been negotiating if or how around $300 billion worth of sovereign Russian assets frozen in West could be leveraged to aid Ukraine amid the war.
