Russian President Vladimir Putin's approval rating among Russians has surged since the start of the war in Ukraine, hitting the highest level since September 2017. A poll by the independent Moscow-based Levada Center found 83% of Russians support Putin's activities as President even as he was widely criticised globally. Meanwhile, 15% of the 1,632 Russians polled didn't support Putin's actions.
