QatarEnergy, the world's largest producer of LNG, on Tuesday declared force majeure on some of its long-term LNG supply contracts. The move comes amid ongoing production and supply disruptions driven by West Asia war. The declaration affects several long-term buyers, including customers in Italy, Belgium, South Korea and China. Last week, Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG facility was attacked by Iran.
