NPCI has disabled all QR share-and-pay-based international UPI transactions. While domestic QR transactions are still allowed, international remote QR payments are now blocked. The move also disallows loading wallets or prepaid cards via collect requests to curb fraud and tighten control over UPI usage abroad.
