Mumbai-based online insurance platform Turtlemint has raised $30 million in a funding round led by GGV Capital. Existing investors like Sequoia Capital India and Blume Ventures also participated in the round. Founded by ex-Quikr executives Anand Prabhudesai and Dhirendra Mahyavanshi, Turtlemint helps consumers identify and purchase insurance policies in the categories of life, health and vehicle.
