Congress MP Rahul Gandhi denied claims of life threat from the complainants in the defamation case linked to his remarks on VD Savarkar. Congress said Rahul's lawyer Milind Pawar, made the remark in a Pune court "without his consent" and he "strongly disagrees" with it. Pawar told a Pune court the complainants were relatives of "Mahatma Gandhi's assassin" Nathuram Godse.
