The contest over Congress Chief Ministerial face in Kerala has intensified after a social media wave emerged in favour of senior Congress leader VD Satheesan following Congress-led UDF's Assembly election victory. On May 4, Rahul Gandhi shared a Facebook post congratulating UDF leaders. A majority of visible replies on the post appear to favour VD Satheesan as next Kerala CM.
