Uncapped Indian batsman Rahul Tripathi on Saturday was bought by SunRisers Hyderabad for ₹8.50 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Tripathi has played for Rising Pune Supergiants, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Tripathi has scored 1,385 runs in 62 IPL matches so far. He was KKR’s second-highest run scorer in last year’s IPL with 397 runs.
