Ex-India opener Virender Sehwag has praised SRH batter Rahul Tripathi, terming him the "best number three batter" of IPL 2022. "If you look at all teams, if there's one player who attained most success at number three, it's Rahul Tripathi...he contributed a lot to SRH winning five matches in a row," stated Sehwag. Tripathi scored 413 runs in IPL 2022.
