Four people were killed and several injured when a MEMU passenger train collided with a stationary goods train near Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The Railways announced ₹10 lakh for families of the deceased, ₹5 lakh for the grievously injured, and ₹1 lakh for minor injuries. A safety inquiry and rescue operations are currently underway.
