Starting August 2024, the Indian Railways will stop reservations for AC Chair Car and Second AC coaches on Garib Rath trains. This decision is part of an upgrade initiative to replace aging coaches with new economy AC coaches, enhancing passenger amenities. The changes will affect all 26 Garib Rath trains operating across 52 routes.
