Indian Railways rolled out its first air-conditioned three-tier economy class coach manufactured in Rail Coach Factory in Punjab's Kapurthala. It has 83 berths, snack table facility for transverse side, individual bottle holders and charging sockets and increased headroom for middle and upper berths. The coach also has individual reading lights, fire alarm system and luminescent berth numbers.
