Indian Railways has recorded a 170% rise in cement transportation over the last four months after introducing new bulk cement logistics reforms. The reforms include innovative tank containers and bulk terminal policies that reduce handling, logistics costs and turnaround time while promoting cleaner and more efficient rail-based freight movement across the country.
