RailYatri, a train ticketing platform authorised by IRCTC, has reportedly suffered a data breach, exposing the data of more than 31 million users. As per a report, the data, which includes email addresses, full names, genders, phone numbers and locations, has been put up for sale on cybercrime forum BreachForums. RailYatri suffered a similar breach in 2020.
