Rain lashed parts of Bengaluru on Tuesday, amidst a yellow alert issued by IMD. The alert issued until May 29 forecast a week of consistent light to moderate rainfall, thundershowers, and strong gusty winds. Due to an upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal, atmospheric conditions have grown increasingly favourable for widespread rainfall across Karnataka.
