Rain lashed parts of Chennai on Monday, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, with visuals surfacing on social media. This reportedly comes after days of intense heat and humidity in the city. Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai said the maximum temperature is likely to be 33 to 34°C on Monday, while the minimum temperature may be around 26 to 27°C.
