Rainfall and thunderstorms hit parts of Delhi and NCR on Thursday evening, bringing much-needed relief from the heat. A message sent by NDMA to residents read, "Over the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms (with wind speeds ranging from 50–60 km/h up to 70 km/h) and hailstorms at some locations in your district."
