Raj Thackeray demanded a probe into how Vedanta-Foxconn deal went to Gujarat instead of Maharashtra and said that the deal reaching Gujarat is serious and not a good sign. "We should go beyond politics and look at this issue," Thackeray added. This comes after Vedanta announced that it will set up its semiconductor plant worth ₹1.54 lakh crore in Gujarat.
