Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has extended support to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena to control the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) following the recent civic polls. Sena, which fought the KDMC polls with the BJP, won the most seats at 53. However, it fell short of the 62 mark to secure the mayor's post, making post-poll support crucial.
