Union Minister Ramdas Athawale criticised Raj Thackeray for his remarks amid the Marathi row and said he was promoting "dadagiri". "To beat someone because of language isn't good...Mumbai also has non-Marathi people who own industries...will Raj Thackeray give jobs if these industries close," he said. Thackeray told MNS workers "if you beat someone, don't make a video of the incident."
