More than a year after he last played for India, Rajat Patidar began the 2025/26 domestic season with a hundred in Central Zone's Duleep Trophy opener. Leading Central Zone against North East Zone, Patidar scored a 80-ball hundred, smashing a total of 102 runs in boundaries out of 125. This was his 15th first-class ton, and first in Duleep Trophy.
