'Jailer 2' will be releasing in theatres on June 12, 2026, confirmed Rajinikanth to media at the airport. The actor was returning to Chennai after wrapping up the film's Kerala schedule. The sequel will reportedly bring new cast including SJ Suryah, Nandamuri Balakrishna, among others. Raijinikanth has currently taken break from acting commitments to take spiritual journey to the Himalayas.
