Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has authorised CDS (Chief of Defence Staff) and Secretary, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) to issue joint instructions and joint orders for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. "This initiative lays...foundation for improved transparency (and) coordination...in the three Services," PIB said. Earlier, orders related to two or more services were issued separately.
