Rajpal Yadav announces film on his cheque bounce case in SC, calls it '16 Sawan Jhel Ke'

During his Supreme Court hearing, actor Rajpal Yadav proposed to make a film on his cheque bounce case. After CJI Surya Kant asked him to make a movie to rebuild his image, Rajpal jokingly announced the title 'Solah Sawan Jhel Ke', referring to the 16 years of dispute. Rajpal failed to repay ₹5-crore loan taken to direct 'Ata Pata Laapata'.
