Poet Dr Kumar Vishvas expressed his grief on the demise of comedian Raju Srivastava. Vishvas called Srivastava as someone who "provided the divine gift of laughter" to many people. Actor Rajpal Yadav and comedienne Bharti Singh also mourned Srivastava's demise. Yadav tweeted, "You'll be missed my brother", while Singh said the news is "unbelievable and heartbreaking".
