Banks in several states across India will be closed on Wednesday on the occasion of Ram Navami, according to the list of holidays shared by the Reserve Bank of India. This festival celebrates the birth of Lord Rama who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Banks are closed for Ram Navami in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and other states.
