In an interview with actor Mohanlal, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan said that he used to read the Ramayana, Lord Krishna songs, and the Mahabharata to his mother as she could not read. “From those readings, certain thoughts came to me, which I think may have influenced me,” Vijayan added. “That is why I have no other desires,” he stated.
