Union Minister Ramdas Athwale supported the film 'Phule' for addressing social issues, after it went through a recent controversy over the portrayal of the Brahmin community. Athwale urged that the film should be granted tax-free status across the country and recommended its screening for the Members of Parliament. He further said, "I recommend this film even to President Droupadi Murmu."
