The Centre for Promotion of Geoheritage and Geotourism (CPGG) is planning to work with the Rajasthan government to develop the Ramgarh crater as a protected geo-tourism site, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences' Mahesh Thakkar said. The aim is to protect the site from depletion, Thakkar added. "Ramgarh is one of the best known...impact craters in India," a CPGG advisor said.
