Former India captain Shantha Rangaswamy recalled the early struggles of women's cricket, from travelling in unreserved train coaches to sleeping on dormitory floors. She said today's players "deserve all the facilities" and credited the BCCI and state bodies for women's cricket's growth, adding, "The foundation we laid 50 years back is bearing fruits now."
