BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed on Monday that the upcoming edition of the Ranji Trophy will "proceed as planned" amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country. It's scheduled to be played from January 13 to March 20. Kolkata will be hosting neutral group stage matches as well as knockouts. Earlier in the day, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) announced suspension of local tournaments.
