A 62-year-old TDP leader, accused of attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl, allegedly died by suicide. Tatika Narayana Rao, charged under POCSO, jumped into a lake in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district while being taken to a local court. He reportedly asked the police for a bathroom break. TDP's Nara Lokesh earlier condemned the incident and promised stern action against Rao.
